I moved in January 2023. Moved out Beginning of April 2023. This is the most HORRENDOUS place I have ever lived. I moved there to get out of a bad situation plus I have 2 large dogs and some of their apartments have backyards. From the moment I moved in it was a nightmare. First, I was not able to see the apartment before I moved in. They showed me a 2 bedroom that had been partially redone. With what they showed me I was ok not seeing the apartment I was renting. BIG MISTAKE!!
I walk in, first sight not really looking yet I was like... Cute. Then I start looking. Very weird layout for one bedroom... I'm standing by front door and there is patch work the size of a watermelon or bigger. Only reason I noticed is because there was no texture even though the whole apartment is textured except that patch. The kitchen... The cabinets had been painted so many times that the paint never actually dried. They were tacky to touch, and my dishes or glasses would lift paint every time I grab one. (I was told the apartment upgrades would be the same that i saw... NOPE the apartment I saw had new cabinet doors not painted) The dishwasher... went to open and they whole thing fell forward because it had not been bolted to the countertop. I go into the bedroom to see the backyard. First, bedroom is super small. I open the slider walk out back and someone had tagged (spray painted) all over the backyard. Was all over the fence, on all over the cement stoop, and all over the stucco where the slider is. I look at Taryn and I'm like there is tagging all over my backyard. She goes " oh I guess I should really look outside before approving for move in." I asked her to fix, and she tells me that they don't have those paint colors. I'm like really, I'll go buy some spray paint and fix myself. She goes "well ill see what we can do". Then as I'm walking her out, I look up and there is splattered blood all over the ceiling near the bathroom. Ummm... Really? I ask them to fix everything. Then I go to use the bathroom and the toilet is so low to the ground like it was put in there for a child. The shower head placement was horrible. I'm 5'8" and I had to bend my knees to wash my hair. Again, made for a child or for little people.
Neighbors... So disrespectful. I had a corner unit. The kids would tease my dogs and throw things at them. They moved me literally next to the most popular kid. Not to mention the people that lived next to me had 6 plus people living there. These kids plus the other kids in the complex would hang outside my window screaming and yelling. I work graveyard and I would open my door and ask them politely to move elsewhere because I'm trying to sleep. They'd move but be back there again. They would throw balls and rocks at my door, Bang into my apartment walls, they would knock on my door and run. This was EVERY DAY!! I would be sitting in my living room, and they'd be looking in my window and screaming. I went to Taryn SEVERAL times and told her that I've had enough. She stated she spoke to the kids and ALL the parents. So "if" she did all, those parents don't care how their kids act and don't care about what annoys you. Other neighbors with their music blaring throughout the whole complex. This is nonstop and worse on the weekends. I was late to work several times because trying to sleep was a nightmare.
I broke my lease because she had nowhere else to move me in that complex. She said she could move me to the complex across the street, but I told her no because they do not have backyards for my dogs. Now it's on my credit and i have to fight it! A manager who did nothing...
If you want a place that is noisy, disrespectful tenants, kids screaming all the time and music blaring... Then this is the palce for you. If not, Stay away!! Long Term Residents... They run the place, not management!
